This was my second build after getting back into building models about six years ago.
This was a sidewinder. The engine was offset to the left and the driver all the way to the right.
Johnny wore an arm guard on his right arm because sometimes it would rub the right rear tire.

This had to be posted under die-cast on Fred's forum.

The only part that is die-cast is the frame. The frame is the newer R & R sprint car kit.
I had to widen and lengthen the frame. The front axle and the quick change rear had to be widened and offset.
All body panels and the wing are formed from aluminum flat sheet .
The wheels and fuel injection stacks are from the old GMP sprint car kit.

Oh yea...now that looks COOL!! Great job on the replication Bob. Love the Supers.
