Mod Frames
« on: November 28, 2019, 04:33:43 PM »
Is there a tutorial any where on how to scratch  a frame for a 60s modified? I'm thinking of copying a slammer type frame. Think I can do it but just checking.

I think there might still be a tutorial somewhere out there.....whether or not whoever did it still wants to share it is something else.....
As I have been made to understand , the slammer frame is a Tri-5 Chevy, stripped down to just the ladder frame.
Since you mentioned scratch building, another possibility you might want to consider is the International Harvester Scout frame ....I believe it was Geoff Bodine that ran one back then....its about as basic of a frame as there ever has been, another simple ladder frame.
