Old favorite build............

(1/2) > >>

Speedy:

This has been seen before by some of you. It's one of my favorite builds of the type of cars I saw racing when I was growing up.

:) There it is.  I knew there was one of those old warriors left somewhere.  Check out that right front camber.

Hoping there is another build left in there somewhere.

Bill in MA:
Ah yes, I remember this beauty.  Just the right amount of dirt and weathering to make it so very realistic-looking.  I believe this was a M.O.M. on Fred's and deservedly so!  8)

Olderndirt:
I love this build, right colors, right stance, and the right amount of dirt. Oh, and I'd take a whole sheet of those Bardahl decals, I think they were on every car back in the day.

I have always been proud of the fact that this car was chosen as a MOM by the group. I have won awards before but nothing is as gratifying as being recognized by ones' own peers. Especially when you consider the amount of exceptional talent in this group!
I have had my ups and downs with physical health over the last few years and that has taken precedence over my building. I'm getting the itch again and have several ideas in my head. One involves the coupe and coach days and another that's inspired by Iowan Mel Morris from the old MVSC days.
I'm glad to see the short track lives on!...................
