Man Mark...this is really looking good!! Very good fab work on this bad boy. That's a very cool idea of the tire racks on the top of the storage compartments. Was the 1/1 like that?

Gary..... I only have a photo from the back of the cab, but yes the tire racks were on top of the tool box area. I took my own liberties as to the exact detail. The truck, I'm sure, was older than the 95 I'm building, but I have 2 in my stash with missing parts from another build, so I just decide to use them. Wasn't sure how the crew cab would work out, learning as I go on this one.

When I went off to S Carolina in '63 ( Air Force ),  and to the Southern 500 at Darlington,  the Ford teams all had the utility trucks with the tire racks on each side.

The new kits for these style trucks are perfect for these models and I started mine this past week.

Yours is looking really good.  Build on.
