They both look good, Joe.  Glad you are back.

Ya done ol Dave proud.  I watched him race at Capitol Speedway back in the mid to late sixties.  Dave ran a 57 Chevy 2 door hard top painted blue he ran #2 on his car at that time.  His car was called the blue deuce.  Always had serious battles between him and Dick Trickle.  Typical Ford versus Chevy duals.  Out comes were about even.  Really nice work on the model.

I saw him at Capital  several times as well him and Trickle had at pretty good. Trickle ruled Capital for a while Shear, Bickle, Carlson, Sauter's, Reffner, Watson and so many other's there and Rockford Speedway which was my local track I was there or Capital every weekend sometimes I went over to Iowa for some big dirt track races. I went to the National Short Track Championships every year they were the best Wisc. and Chicago Drivers and so many drivers from other parts of the country. I saw Mark Martin win it before he went to NASCAR the first time. those days will never seen again the Wisc. and Chicago don't have anywhere near the drivers we did back then Wisc. and Iowa had so many great drivers. I miss those days so many are gone I often wonder who will tell the stories of those days when we are gone it all may be lost.....
