Title: Fun Saver #4
Post by: James2 on June 23, 2017, 06:51:28 AM
One of my favorite builds. I enjoyed this one quite a lot and used techniques learned from Fred Sudlow and Clay Kemp.

Love this one. I always have trouble making rivets look uniform and real. Also like the way you did the hood pins. How about telling us how? Really a lot of great detail on this one!

I think I forgot to answer this one! The Hood pins are photo etched pieces from Detail Master. And the rivets were done with a mechanical pencil and silver paint. Dip the end of the lead in the paint blot and hit the spot. Once you do it a few times you can get pretty consistent with the size. (Credit to Fred Sudlow for the tip)
