Hal Browning #6 on the bench (UPDATED 3/16)
« on: February 16, 2019, 09:23:06 AM »
This is going to be a replica build of the Palmer Special, driven by Hal Browning, during the 1967 thru 1970 racing season.
This was very similar to a sprint car with different body work. It also had cross torsion bar suspension on the front.
They raced in Central Pa. and Maryland.

I live where you’re going with this. I love this era of short track racing.

That's sure looking good Bob. Your fab work really is shining on this one....That style of car sure looks Like the Super Modifieds here on the west coast that ran during that same time period.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I'm working with the car owners son on this build. He has provided pictures and some detail I normally don't have available for these replica builds.
