Back in the days of driveable/buildable street cars beginning with a $100 investment, my '56 Chevy 210 6 cylinder, "tree" speed as an example, many of the local hot-rodders used a flexible steel pipe for exhaust. Of course it was not very efficient since it rusted quite readily in the seams. This stuff was one of J. C. Whitney's best sellers. Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could find this pipe in scale, or maybe ideas on fabricating some? I need some to build an exhaust on a short track car I am building.

Rick, I know the stuff you are speaking of, used some of it myself back when. The only idea I have is the same way I made the air duct on the Formost Camaro I finished. Check the end of the build thread and look at the materials I used. You might make something smaller with the winds of the wire closer and paint it steel. You can bend it and use it just like the real crap. Just a thought.
