on the bench..vega mod and whelen chassis

just started this stuff before I went in for surgery on Thursday.The vega I have cut off the rocker panals and chopped the front roof post.The whelen chassis is likely #1 of a couple.Waiting on a body from Big Donkey and will be scratch building 2 more.But recovery from surgery will take a bit,so I'll post as I can

should see the whelen body from big donkey today,if I feel a bit better I will start on a cavalier body this week end

Looks like another great start. Nothing like building a model helps you heal faster. Hang in there and get better soon.

cochlear implant.I had the 1st one done in 2013.That helped but began failing a year ago.This implant was done on Thursday on the right side.Let me know if you want more info.With out this I would be completely deaf

I like the looks of the roof chop in the front pat, I might have to try that on my next one. Nice work so far.

I started a 2nd frame after I got back from the doc's.This one is narrower and made of 2x4 evergreen.One till be for the  big donkey car and the other for the cavaler body I am making

If you look at my flemke pinto I did the same for it.in the modified section

Great fab work Pat, they are both coming along nicely.
