Never said purple wasn’t used. Never said “never” or “always”, just related what was common on the short tracks in Northern California after our area quit NASCAR, and formed NCRA. I was just relating what the era was like from my prospective. Southern California at that time was like a different planet.

Nice bar work Marty. I especially like the hump bar on top. Those came in handy when they got on their lids!
