Frank Bennett
« on: June 08, 2017, 09:18:20 AM »
Hi everyone:
There was a message in my Facebook feed this morning that Frank had passed last week. I am hoping this news is not correct and was wondering if anyone here would know for sure.  It is very sad news if true. Frank was an immensely talented builder and had just started a business casting some awesome short track stuff.

There is nothing about it on his website https://www.bennettracingreplicas.com/

:)  I know nothing of it, but at one of the Birmingham shows, he was nice enough to help me when my key would not turn in the ignition of my car.    He came back  from the hotel, and  took me back to it.  I was able to find  a locksmith Saturday night that fixed it, thereby saving me from having to get a dealer on Monday morning.  I needed to head home Sunday morning.

A great model builder.  I, too, hope this is not true.   :(

That is a shame. Saw his stuff on his website and looks like he wanted to start up a really 1st class operation. My sympathies to his family.

Man...this is very SAD News. Didn't he go by Frankencamaro on other forums? He was a Journeyman Builder to say the least...

Sad to hear this. He participated in the annual  Fall Brawl build off we used to have over on Randy's and built awesome short track cars. The hobby will miss him.
