This is my Lindberg Petty car as a " could of been." It is box stock, with no glass. Sometimes they just don't work out.
The glass was scratched badly ……. David told me how to buff it out …… but I was too impatient, and tired of it to do that. So ….. I asked Round 2 if I could order more...…. They sent me some free of charge, but it was the wrong one ones. I whacked, and ground, and sanded on it forever and never could get the body to settle down on the chassis right, so finally I just sealed it up and moved on.
I like it pretty well except for that. Hope you do too.

Thanks David. The silver is sprayed, and the orange is brushed. Actually close up some brush marks are visible.

It looks real good to Me John, a little screen over the windshield and you have it set up for the dirt tracks.

Thanks. Actually Bob, I thought about the screen, but don't know if the NASCAR dirt cars of that era used screen or glass.
What do you guys think I should do ? What about a poll ?

I like it, John. I would never have guessed it was hand brushed!

Looks great John. You're way too hard on yourself. That brushed paint job looks better then some of my sprayed ones. Sometimes you can make windshields and back glass from thin clear styrene. Just place a piece of paper over the opening from the outside and trace around the opening on the inside then cut out what you get and use as a template over the clear plastic and cut it out sometimes it will pop into place if you put a couple of pieces of small styene pieces around the inside opening of the windshield or back glass. then a few dots of white glue here and there and your done.
