Red Farmer 70's Hauler & Torino...Added 3 Photos 12/13/21

spotter23:
Added a couple photos of the actual tow rig including the 72 and the 69 Torinos. Also added the completed build with the scratch built trailer and the 72 Torino included.
Completed a hauler Red Farmer used back in the 70's. I remember it at Daytona with the 69 on a trailer behind the hauler (probably a Permatex car) and a 72 Torino on the actual hauler. I will add the trailer soon and build the 72. The 69 in these photos is an older build. The cab was a 2 door purchased on eBay from a seller in Rumania. Took 2 cabs and made a crew cab, then scratch built the hauler bed. Thanks for looking.

:) :)  These are fantastic models, and I am sure a great deal of work.

Your opening picture was taken at my all time favorite track, Jackson (Mississippi )   International Speedway.   Some really good racing in its 18 year lifetime. It's all grown up in pine trees now.  You would never know it had ever been there when you pass by on I-20.

The man in the foreground is Ival Cooper, who gained quite a reputation, from Texas to Florida, as a super modified driver.

Thanks so much for sharing these pictures.  Brings back a lot of memories.

Maineboy:
Beautiful piece of work. That gold paint is just an awesome color on that truck.  Saw a fellow from Maritime Canada who made a crew cab out of a full size International tractor truck, that same way, back in the mid 80's. Used it to haul horses to shows using a former furniture moving van. Could make a car hauler the same way. Always thought it a very clever idea.

I am in awe of this beauty.  Fantastic looking hauler and the Torino is excellent also.  You have done some mighty fine model building on this rig. Thanks for sharing it.
