David's topic does make me want to share this idea.
I love the '60 - '66 series of Chevy pickups. I have built 5 of them.
I think it would be great to get 3 kits of the same one. The first one would be as dragged out of the weeds -- with weathering, rust, and flat tires -- for restoration.
The second would be up and running, in primer, with a new engine, and mag wheels.
And the third one would add a nice interior and colorful paint job.
But alas ! My time has passed. Too old, clumsy, and tired for a project like that.
