Uploading Photos
« on: July 23, 2019, 02:11:08 PM »
I am having trouble uploading photos.  Reduced some to 2k and get message that it's too large.  That's so small, all detail is lost.  What am I doing wrong?  Thanks.

...Instead of going with a 2000 size can you go with pixels?  I go with no more than 640 (pixels) X 480 (pixels) for my posted picture size....I use PhotoScape for my pictures (cropping, sizing, etc. etc.)

I have resized to 640 x 480 pixels and the file size is 297 pixels, still too big.

looks like the file size is just a bit too large.....I just checked mine that are sized to 640 X 480 and they show to be in the 260 KB range where as your showing 297.....
What steps are you taking to get a picture from your hard drive posted to this forum?

Original photo taken with my phone, resized to 640 x 480 using PSP9.  Reduced color levels to 256, 8 bit.  Then upload from computer.
