1966 Chevy Nova short track car.
A while back, I received this from John2 with a note saying.......... "See what you can do with it."
Well, here ya go folks.

Slick! I was always surprised that more of that body style didn't end up as short trackers because I think they look great. This one does! Nice tribute on the truck lid and I really like those hood pins. You add the wire?

My favorite Nova body style. Glad to help out sponsor wise.

And your "do something with it" "did it". That thing is awesome! I like the hood pins too. I've got to learn that!

Thanks, Guys !
It's rare that I actually like a build after spending a lot of time on it, but I like this one.
Sorry, the pics are small, still battling the sizing thing.
(Takes longer fooling with that now, than building the car.... ::))
The hood pins are just a small piece of rod in the hole with a small drilled round flat piece of .010 stock for the base. (Punched it out with a leather hole puncher)
I did the wire the easy way. Glued a piece of 32 ga wire to the inside lip of the hood and just did a couple wraps around the rod & snipped off the end. Just leave it long like the pin would look like.
