Month of December
« on: December 25, 2017, 09:30:15 PM »
Here's some of what I did this month. Most were Christmas orders and I couldn't post until today. Sorry for posting so many at one time but I thought if I posted each one in a separate post it might be worse.

A lot of nice builds there Gator. You were busy. Nice hand lettering on all of these.

I still need to try one of your bodies some time.

Wow!  Looks like "Gator Claus" was busy this year!  Cranked out some real beauts, too!  Outstanding work as always, Jackie! 8) 8)

:)  Jackie, you are my champion.   A master of the hand lettering.  They are all great as usual.

That little red 6 car  --  what is that ?  Almost looks like a go cart with a homemade body.

Reminds me of  a time when we made downhill coaster racers with wagon wheel parts, rope steering,  and card board box bodies.

Thanks again to everyone that looked and I really appreciate everyone that took time to post a reply. John2 these are what began about twenty years ago as a cheap simple entry level four cylinder class. They used stock autos, mostly Pintos, and were a big hit. Fast forward to the present and all the "stock" cars are gone. They are  not cheap or simple and everything is fabricated. They cost more than a lot of V8 classes to build and race. They have become sort of a mini latemodel.  I miss the old days myself. Here's a picture of the actual car.

:)  Thanks, Jackie.  I have only been able to see one race since 2008, that being 2011.  Things sure have changed since then.

I remember the days of the Pintos.  We called them mini stocks.
