Lindberg "T" style supermodified WIP
« on: March 31, 2019, 07:02:41 PM »
Here is my first attempt at turning the Lindberg T into a SW style supermodified. I'm using a modified Grant King hood and nose the frame will be scratch built with a GK front end. the rear end will be parallel torsion bars with a amt indy car quickchange. I started by cutting the tail off then filling in the back and repositioning the modified fuel tank. I also cut the roof panel out.

I still didn't like the tail so I built a new one. I like this one it has a good look to me.

Here's a mock up to try and set the ride height.

I appreciate your dedication, but, feel one can only go so far with this kit. It is what it is. I think you would be miles ahead picking up a resin, or kit body, that isn’t quite so generic, and scratchbuilding the rest.
