Title: CAE builds using Don Edmunds kits
Post by: Bob P. on June 16, 2017, 04:21:34 PM
Between 1964 and 1967 CAE cars were very popular on the central Pa. racing circuit. They could be purchased completely built, as a kit or you could just purchase the plans. I thought I would post some of my CAE replica builds here.

I use the Don Edmunds model kits for these builds. They work very well for these, but the frame needs to be lengthened between the front and rear roll cage and between the firewall and the front bumper mount.

I had a how to on Fred's for one of these builds.

THIS IS A JIG I MADE TO LENGTHEN THE FRAME AND KEEP IT STRAIGHT.
The jig is used prior to attaching the front axle.
