Title: Passing of a board member
Post by: Tom Birky on November 20, 2020, 09:23:45 PM: Board member Greg Birky passed away Tuesday, November 17th. He was 69. Greg had been battling leukemia for the last 6 months. Although he was primarily a custom builder he dabbled in stockcars too and always followed the board activity. He got me started in model building and we enjoyed going to model shows and dirt races together. He will be greatly missed.

Post by: David Bogard on November 20, 2020, 10:08:42 PM: Although not nearly to the impact it has on Tom and Jim, each true member of this forum suffered a loss by Greg's passing. Not many good guys left; men of faith; men who tried to stand for something. We just lost one of those guys.

I could always count on Greg, he was always quick to respond to one of my build post with praise and always wanting to see more......indeed a true member of this forum and his presence will most surely be missed. May his soul rest in eternal peace and may Gods love be with his family and friends.

I am sorry to hear of Greg's passing. I was thinking of him on Friday and wondering how he was doing.
He was a talented modeler and good guy.
