Title: Recommendations for stainless steel finish on this hauler
Post by: Bob P. on August 28, 2018, 05:41:08 PM
I'm going to attempt to build the hauler below for the 69K sprint car.
The lower cabinets appear to be very shiny stainless steel.
I have already tried the dupli color chrome for the wing on the car.
I'm going to use it for the wing, but it falls way short of looking like a shiny aluminum wing or stainless steel.

Thanks for any help.

I agree with David...I think BMF will give that look that's in the picture.

Bare Metal Foil is the way to go

Thanks all for the comments.

I have a local friend, who I respect as a very good model builder, and he recommended the bare metal foil also.

So when I get to that point on the build I will give it a try.
