This is a replica of Bobby Allen's 2019 shark racing team number 1S driven by Logan Schuchart in 1/24th scale.
This is there fifth year competing with the world of outlaws.
These fantastic decals were provided by Greg Holland VSRN on this forum.
I can't thank Greg enough for all the time and effort he put into this project.

Thanks for looking
Bob
WOW!!
That is one great looking sprint car Bob! I agree, those decals are top notch!!
Outstanding!!!!
Excellent recreation, Bob.
You nailed it !! :)
Thanks for the nice comments guys.
The most challenging part of this build was applying the side decals.
I glued the panels in place on the car and then applied the decal all in one piece.
The decals are very thin and durable, they conformed to the body panels very well.
Bob
Excellent replica! This is one of my favorite WoO graphic and paint schemes.
Incredible.....the decals alone are simply outstanding ...its as if you where able to magically shrink the 1:1 version down to 1:24 scale
That is a neat one!
Top notch stuff Bob.
Thanks again for the comments guys, it was a fun build.
Bob
You KILLED this build of the Allen Racing 1S. Very nicely done, and the attention to detail is spot on. Now all you need to do is build Jacob's DieselAll #1A to complete the team ;)
Thanks for the comment, Big Orange, I'll need to think about that.
Bob
Bob, I have a couple of photos (only the right side though) of Jacob's car if you ever need them.
Bob, were you able to build this contemporary sprinter from the Monogram parts that have been available over the years or is there some resin or scratchbuilding hidden under those superb decals?
Oh, by the way, the detailing on those front wheels and the shiny race tyres is breathtaking! I have built about seven sprintcars over the years but nothing this contemporary at this stage.
Cheers
Alan
Alan,
The frame and all body panels on this build came from Justin at SWS chassis.
He builds the frame exactly like the modern sprint car frames. It's scaled to match up exactly to the dimensions on the old Monogram sprint car kits. The hood, nose, and side panels are vac-cu-formed thin plastic. The rear end, front axle, radius rods, tires and wheels are from the Monogram kit.
Justin at SWS had some very nice sprint car parts available.
Unfortunately he is no longer in business. His web site states the following comment.
Unfortunately, life gets in the way of things sometimes, and I've chosen to refocus my priorities into other avenues at this time. I want to thank all of my customers for their understanding, and any pending orders will be refunded. No idea on when production will resume, but when that happens, I'll be sure to let everyone know!
His web site is still up. Just type in SWS chassis in google and you can view the items he had available.
Let's hope he reopens his business sometime soon.
Bob
Gorgeous build!!!🏁🏁🏁
