Very nice build Slim.
I thought I was a slow builder but you have me beats. :) :)

Slim...
Another great looking build!!
Those pipes would be singing a beautiful song, Slim! Love the shortened 37 body. I bet it was noisy racing when a bunch of those nerf bars came together!
Cheers
Alan
Been wondering when this would get finished. Since I'm very fond of '39/'40 Ford sedans, I'm pretty sure this is a shortened '39/'40. Looks to me like a Buick engine too, I build primarily early modifieds basically because they used wrecking yard engines of every kind, not just SBC's.

Thanks fellas! OtD, its a 37 Ford and yes, it's a nailhead! Thanks for your comments!
To a tee! I remember these mods very well! Awesome stuff Slim, per usual! Wish I could build one of those chassis!

Beautiful piece of work Slim. I watched these types of race on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons at Capital Speedway in Oregon Wisconsin. Those races were very competitive and extremely safe as I never saw anyone on their roof or side a few pile ups here and there but nothing too serious and the key thing no bodyj got hurt. Your builds of these types of cars sure bring back some wonderful memories. Thanks for the strip down memory lane.

Looks great, Slim! Good to see you building again.
What a crazy cool looking little car!!! I'm loving it in every way!!!
