Learned yesterday that a distant cousin of mine not only has cancer, but it is so far advanced that she is not seeking any kind of treatment, as it has spread thru most of her body.
Didn't know anything about it until seeing her name on the prayer list at church yesterday morning. Even the party that had her name put on the list found out from someone else, as the person who told me what was happening, was a classmate of hers....
Yes, so sorry. Seems when you get as old as most of us are, it is frequent news. Prayers, thoughts , and best wishes.
Always sad news to hear this kind of thing. I lost my first wife at 54 with brain cancer. Damned disease! Hang in there man and condolences to all concerned!

Sorry to hear it Ed.

Sorry to hear Ed! She's definitely in my prayers! I'm not going to "church" in a big building now I can't put her on a prayer chain but I am meeting with a couple of other believers regularly in their home and I know that they're prayers are heard so we collectively will have her covered in prayers!!! Any updates on her condition?
Greg....
This is what she wrote: Diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer....pretty much all over...
had a hip pinned last Friday (9/27/2019)
Going in for pulmonary biopsy Monday (10/7/2019)
will update when i hear/see something....
Thanks to all for your prayers and concerns....means a lot to me......AND to her....!
Sorry it's taken so long to respond, Ed. Although the news is not great my prayers will continue! As a cancer survivor who has lost my dear wife to cancer my compassion for those going through any cancer is more than anyone could ever know! It's not over and the doctors don't get to decide her fate! We both know the healer and it's in His hands! My faith in Him believes that she's going to win no matter how it goes!!!
Thanks, Greg....
