Title: Wedge LM #0
Post by: Dirtman on January 26, 2022, 11:14:18 AM
Don't know where I got this body but it's flimsy like paper! Really hard to work with. But......here goes!!(https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51840708227_8308f6a9d0_z.jpg) (https://flic.kr/p/2mYZbsg)IMG_5901 (https://flic.kr/p/2mYZbsg) by Rett Rundell (https://www.flickr.com/photos/153037413@N04/), on Flickr(https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51841757743_4997f7152c_z.jpg) (https://flic.kr/p/2mZ5yrn)IMG_5924 (https://flic.kr/p/2mZ5yrn) by (https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51845095210_be0e71c603_z.jpg) (https://flic.kr/p/2mZnExU)IMG_5943 (1) (https://flic.kr/p/2mZnExU) by Rett Rundell (https://www.flickr.com/photos/153037413@N04/), on FlickrRett Rundell (https://www.flickr.com/photos/153037413@N04/), on Flickr(https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51844353951_10dcc55dbf_z.jpg) (https://flic.kr/p/2mZiScz)IMG_5937 (https://flic.kr/p/2mZiScz) by Rett Rundell (https://www.flickr.com/photos/153037413@N04/), on Flickr(https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51844467003_1a61a8da37_z.jpg) (https://flic.kr/p/2mZjrNK)IMG_5945 (1) (https://flic.kr/p/2mZjrNK) by Rett Rundell (https://www.flickr.com/photos/153037413@N04/), on Flickr(https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51844467118_285d0ebfe5_z.jpg) (https://flic.kr/p/2mZjrQJ)IMG_5941 (https://flic.kr/p/2mZjrQJ) by Rett Rundell (https://www.flickr.com/photos/153037413@N04/), on Flickr(https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51844720799_b93670001b_z.jpg) (https://flic.kr/p/2mZkKfx)IMG_5939 (1) (https://flic.kr/p/2mZkKfx) by Rett Rundell (https://www.flickr.com/photos/153037413@N04/), on Flickr

Went back  aways for that decal, huh ?  That touch of blue really sets it off.  Can I have it ?

That was an old vacuformed body from the late great Gator, Jackie Sims. You did him proud Rett.

If anything that vacuum formed body is more true to scale thickness than any thing offered in either plastic or resin.
I'm with everyone else in saying that its a nice looking build....where did you get those wheels and tires, they really make this build stand out.

Most  of the wheels and tires are stuff that I've collected at swaps. My supply is getting low now so I'll have to start ordering again.

Thanks for the comments guys, glad you like it. When I build, about half the time, I'm not all that happy with the final result. This time I am.

Just realized I didn't put up any support struts for the plexiglass! Now, it's done.
