:) Does anybody have a phone number for this Wes's Model Car Corner that is supposed to market the Whelen modified kit if it ever comes out ?
The web site doesn't give you any way to contact him, except through Facebook, which I do not do. And when I try to go there, I get nowhere.
They say you can pre-order, but all I get are dead ends.
According to Salvino himself, it is now set to be released in the 4th quarter of this year.
Goggle: Wes's Model Car Corner, then select the modified "pre-order" item

Looks real nice. Can have some fun making fictitious drivers.
:) Thanks Tom. Looks real good. Probably pre-order tomorrow.
That looks REAL good. Looking forward to getting a few of these. Thanks for posting The Pics of the kit Tom.
:) We did pre-order. Only one. The last model I will buy.
"The last model I will buy." I've heard that before, even said it myself a few times. And just this past weekend I bought the Dan Gurney Lotus, a 62 Plymouth Fury rebuilder, and a 64 Pontiac Bonneville rebuilder with a 64 Impala for the roof. There was a guy at the show this past weekend selling printed Whelen mod kits for the lowly sum of $150, they were beautiful kits, but the work to remove all the excess plastic and the price sent me on my way to look at other vendors.
:) lol I know Rick - I've said it too.
But this time it's true. I'll soon be 83, and I have 12 others that I MIGHT get to.
Build on, everybody.
You are in better shape that I am. I am 73 and have more than 200 unbuilt kits, so I need to get busy.
