Title: Mustang Dirt Car 1/32
Post by: TarheelRick on August 27, 2017, 03:40:48 PM
Since I posted my modified Mack hauler for this one, I thought I might as well post some shots of the racer itself.  It is the Revell 1/32 Mustang (Dead Drop).  The nose has been drooped just a bit by careful application of a Bic lighter.  I cut out the floorboard, added a scratchbuilt fuel cell, scratchbuilt the interior tin, roll cage, window nets, bump bars, air cleaner and shield, and window screens and nets.  The wheels and tires are from the Revell 1/25 scale Motorworks Mustang kit.  Here are some pictures.

One of the best looking 1/32 Mustangs I've ever seen. A lot of work, and it paid off! Looks great. Nice job.

Amazing level if detail on such a small scale.  Outstanding work, Rick! 8)

Do you repair watches by any chance?   ;)
