:) Looks mean already to me.
Looking good so far Pat!!!!!!!
Those Fairlane's make a nice race car, this will be an interesting build, keep us posted on the progress.
Looking very good so far.
Bob
was going to be a red farmer car....but hate gold and white!
:) Well, he sure liked it. lol He is one of my favorites. Yours will turn out good, I am sure.
Nice project. I'll be watching. I built something similar using a 65 body.
Lookin' good
Looks like a high quality casting. Looking forward to more updates.
thanks!I used davids lesson on legthening the chassis!!
Who is Larry?
:) Yeah, who is Larry ? Big Donkey ?
yes,big donkey resin.
I know they are working on a new on line store.A lot of stuff he has is not in his current one.Should be good!
Do you know if Larry makes a '62 Fairlane body? I didn't know Red Farmer drove a '64 Fairlane. I have seen pictures of his '62/'63 Fairlane, but not a '64. All real Fairlanes have fins in my opinion.
As a youth I did stunts in a '62 Fairlane Tudor sedan that at the very least, should have left me crippled for life. Of all the cars I have owned the Fairlane was the hardest to part with.

Yes,I don't know if he had a 64.I have seen some of the pics of the 63.I am not,nor ever will be a replaca builder.Just not my bag!
I understand that perfectly. Although if I were to build some replicas, Red would be High on the short list of racers I might be tempted to replicate. Maybe it because we're both redheads, or were back in the day. I'm not fond of the gold and white color scheme either, but it's a little better on the cars that had the larger red numbers, and letters.

this will be put on hold for a while.need some evergreen, hobby lobby chased all of the hobby stores away and they don't carry it,so i'll order online and wait, but more pressing is that i'll be going thru a series of test to prepare for a second cochlear implant and try to find out why the first one failed.So...I'll get back to it when I can. Thanks for following it so far

Dang Patrick...that really looks good! The sit you got on it sure makes it look ready to run as is. GREAT job....I'm looking forward to your next update...
me too!LOL...got a few doctor visits, and insurance company calls!
Very nice looking! Like the fender flares too. Every car I ever tried to add flares to ended up as a parts kit...if you know what I mean.
