Oh yea...does that AD take ya back or what? Close your eyes and click your heels together 3 times and repeat..."THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE THE PAST....THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE THE PAST"...

:)  I have thought all along, that at midnight, December 31, 1999, we should have turned around and gone back.

I have a handful of old Car Model and Model Car & Science still running around.......

Discovered them in Aug. 1968 while on a church youth convention held at Purdue Univ......found a store that had a huge assortment of magazines....
Then in a nearby town from where I lived then and now, once again, was a small store called "The Smoke Shop". Had a small bar in the back, but along one wall was a HUGE rack of just about every magazine that was published back in the day, so, without having to subscribe, I could keep up with the above 2 mentioned mags, plus, Stock Car Racing, Model Railroader, Trains, one or two dealing with radio control airplanes.
Ah yes......the good ol' days.....

Here's a thought......

Where would the model car industry be today if we had the PC's, and cottage industries we have today???
