Thanks everyone!
Both pictures were taken by my brother. He used to do a lot of model photography and fooled a lot of people into thinking they were looking at the real deal. He passed away back in 2010 and I still miss him. Here's another example of his models and photography.

I remember seeing many of those posts back in the day....
and yes, he did have a talented eye when it came to photography..........and..................building!!!
Nice one!
Did Big Bill France actually enter this car in the Inaugural Talladega race in 1969? After the PDA and some teams pulled out of the race?
I know I read in SCR where France took it out on the track at speed to show the drivers that it was safe to race at those speeds....
Tiny Lund drove it in the race. France drove a few laps earlier in the week to show the track was safe. He was pretty far off the speed the top cars were running though.
Nice! looks like it's sitting at one of the maintenance sheds in Daytona, very cool
Thanks, for the info, Gator......
Thanks for posting this, Jackie.
Man, I still miss Jerry, "That Ol' Redneck............"
Good stuff !!
