Title: Bubba Raceway
Post by: oldnslow on April 29, 2018, 07:05:41 AM
Went to Bubba Raceway in Ocala last night , nice track , strange shape , looks like an avacado . Big sweeping turn in 1 and 2 , small tight turn in 3 and 4 . track prep was good and racing was decent , not many cars yet this year .

Class that I liked were the TQ Late Models , looked like 2/3 scale late models with 1000cc Suzuki engines , had about 5 that put on a good show .

All the racing was done by 8:45 and we were home early .  8)

Last time I was there was 1983 during speedweeks! It was dirt then. Then it went asphalt and now I think it's back to dirt, right?

I live about 70 miles south of it and just haven't made it yet!

If this is on the road near the Fl State Fire College, then I drove past it to and from the motel room in Feb 2002. Was pavement then....
Was taking a weeks class at the Fire College to get certified to service/certify fire extinguishers.......
