:) Nice to know I am no longer the one on here with the most posts. Things do change over time.
Anne and I will tie the knot next week. Then move to a duplex house on this same retirement community campus. Plenty of room there for her to sew, paint, garden, and cook. And for me to wash dishes, help cook, maybe paint a little, and of course, get back to building a short track car or two.
Certainly great news from you Joh. Congrats, have a happy life and I will be looking forward to some of those "short track builds"!

Outstanding news John. Pray the best for both of you. Can't wait to see what comes off your bench.
:) Thanks, guys.
Congrats to the both of you my friend JOHN
CONGRATULATIONS!!
Happy for the two of you!!!
Congratulations....Just told Amy the news :) ....we are happy for the both of you!
Congratulations John.
I'm happy for both of you. I guess the move to the retirement village was a very good decision.
I hope you both are very happy and enjoy your time together.
I'm glad your going to get back to the model bench. I will be watching for some new builds.
Bob
:) Thanks to all. Anne has a degree in art, so she is quite creative herself, and understands model space that can be left alone until the next session.
That is the most wonderful news, John!!! I pray that you both will have a blessed life together!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤗💞🏁
Congratulations John! I am glad for you both. You all deserve the best of everything.
John2....
If you no longer have the "claim" to the most posts, who does?
When I checked out the number of posts, I found that you still have the most posts......unless I'm missing someone.....
???
just curious...... ;) ;D
:) Well, I thought Bogard was highest, and you were next. Maybe I misread them. lol It isn't important.
I used to have a lot of time for models, and this forum, but that has changed. I don't mind.

:) Thanks, Brian. Obviously I messed up somewhere. It's an age thing. 80 is within sight. Not so good at models anymore either. Eyes are going, hands unsteady. But, I still love them, and will piddle with them as long as I can.
Thanks for letting me hang around.

Yep.....having someone to share your life with these days is far more important than hanging out here.....
But.....you still have a little time for us, which is nice as well....
Your posts have always been interesting and inspiring, as have all the builds you've posted over he years....
:) Thank you, Ed. I appreciate that.
I thoought this was going to be about posters you hang on the wall!
Congrad John, be happy!
...I thought it had more to do with our actual size...5'11" 230ish .... :D
