I know that is not overly popular, but one of the groups I belong to had a post about North Iowa Vintage Club.
Was posted on the Iowa Dirt Track Legends group, by Mark Holt....
Post that a saw has some of the legend cars I've seen compete, yes, they actually race them! There are a couple of pics of what look to be '55 Chevies, that run, minus front fenders but most if not all of the hoods are still there....along with a nice looking Chevy II purple in color #21, but using dice for the number......couple older modifieds with 6 cylinders under the hood.
