Title: Salvinos Buick
Post by: john2 on July 25, 2020, 10:27:09 AM
For what it's worth  --  if anything.

I built the Petty Buick, and they did such a good job with the chrome it's hard to scrape it off for gluing purposes.

Imagine that.

Its real electro plated chrome John. Under that shiny chrome is a copper base. Try a magnet, it'll stick! Its the real thing, hence very hard to scrape. I think i used a tiny file.

Curious, did you use their dayglo red decals?

No, Tom.  Not sure there were dayglo red decals in it.

I made it a fantasy outlaw late model, so used other decals.  I cut their 43s out and tossed the rest.

I don't know Rick.  I swore off the pictures, since I am cutting so many corners to get my last 8 kits done.  Not sure I am legal here anymore.
