Title: Color Recommendations?

Anybody have recommendations on the best colors to use for a Bob Senneker paint scheme? Building a Pontiac LeMans that he ran in the Cup series. Can be rattle can or airbrush, OK using either.

I doubt I can help on the color, but here's a pic I took in the pits at Charlotte, October 1981.
Maybe you can use it.
