Title: James Hylton Dodge Coronet
Post by: gator on December 18, 2020, 08:11:00 PM
I had to quit building models this past year after being diagnosed and treated for pancreatic cancer. A few months ago I felt good enough to start working on some models again. It was great therapy for me even though I couldn't do my hand lettering. Maybe one day I can get back to where I was at one time but I'm enjoying what I'm doing right now. Here is a James Hylton Dodge and I have completed several other NASCAR builds using decals and kits I had put back to build "one day."

Good looking build, Jackie.
Don't see many of this one of James Harvey Hylton.

So glad that you are feeling better. Hope that continues.
Great to hear from you !!

This made my day Jackie! The build is terrific "Gatorific" as usual, but seeing a post with your avatar truly brightened my day!- David

....I have to echo the sentiments of the others in saying that its great to see you back building again :) and by the way, your build skills have not suffered any, it looks great.

Was thinking about you recently.....while looking for something else in the hobby room, I stumbled across the box containing the bodies that I ordered from you a while back....I still have all good intentions on using them for a build someday....anyway, I opened it back up and un stacked the bodies to take another look at them and a flood of ideas came to mind on what to do with each one.....someday I'll make the ideas happen

I do hope that your health continues to improve and that you are able to sustain a quality of life that you deserve.

:)  Sorry.  I regret that I did not  mentioned that Jackie passed away earlier this year.

He was quite a guy, and a really good short track model builder, in South Carolina.
