Title: Injector tubes

Is there a way to flair plastic tubing to make the bell on an injector tube?

I usually make them out of metal, and flare them with a tubing flaring tool. I have flared plastic tubing by chucking a round headed screw into an electric drill and with a file shape the head to form the inside of the flare. When you get it the shape you want, polish it. Then, press the end against the opening in the plastic tubing and pull the trigger on the drill. Give it light pressure, and it will heat up the plastic and start to flare it. The problem with this is it’s hard to make nicely matched sets.
