the last one come ?

I have noticed over the last couple  of the years that several of the veteran cup drivers say they try to really enjoy their wins as they never know when the last one will come.

When will I finish my last model ?  I don't know.  But I don't have the energy or enthusiasm I used to.

Not so much wanting to cut, fit, sand,  bend roll bars, and make sure suspensions are low enough anymore.  Already quit building engines that won't show, and do a lot less detail on the bottom sides of chassis.

Still helping keep a house going, and that takes time and energy too.

Have a hauler half done but who knows ?  I do have a Cobra and a Foose pickup, so they may be the ones to do next, box stock.

John, I'm pushing 80 now and know how you feel. I downsized to a mobile and haven't got the room for much. Been thinking of trying to sell my built ones. Don't know if anyone would be interested in. And I don't have a large inventory of unbuilt anymore. Wife won't know what to do with them when I go, so.......????

We are kindred spirits Rett.  I am just a bit older than you.

We all know the vast majority of plastic modelers are seniors.  I guess you and I are on the top end.  Don't really want to quit.  Just don't seem to be able to get much done these days.

It's frustrating.

I have plenty of kits and time to build but I don't want to build. My cabinet are full of builds. I just come in the model room just to have quite time from the family and chill out

Since I lost my house and now renting a small place with 4 adults in it there's no room really to model till summer.  When I had my house I had the ultimate mans 4 car garage and loft in it. Had one whole corner just for modeling.

Rett...would be interested in built ones. Just send me a couple photos. Always admire others people work. I usually ask them to sign under the hood so I remember whos they are and give credit where its due.
I'll get back to you on this.About half of them are still wrapped up in boxes since the move.

Ditto what Steve said. I like to collect other people's builds! Been doing it for years. If you get serious about thinning the herd I'd be interested as well!
