:) to see the model shows where they sometimes have many, many pictures of the entries ? I enjoyed those but seem to have forgotten them for a while.  Maybe they were on Randy's forum that shut down.

Would love to find those again.  I remember that Len Woodruff used to provide a lot of pictures.

Thanks, John

The only heroes in Washington are buried just outside of it in Arlington

:) Thanks again, Len.  That's about a million pictures, and I am going to look at every cotton pickin' one of them.

 :)  :)   WELL, MY GOODNESS.

In case anyone is interested, I have been looking at Len's pictures, and on ACME 2012, and I find 3 of my cars.  Page 3, numbers 49, 50, and 51. The Buzzie Rutimann 00, and Ellis Palasini 8V are likenesses, and the 8 is fictional.

And the 8 made the Contest Cars magazine for 2013.

I'll be going through the rest of his pictures, and if you like, I'll call attention to them.

My what memories.

:) Finished looking at ALL the pictures, just now.  2 million , I guess.  Everything imaginable, and some things unimaginable.  Not so many with big numbers on the sides, though.   Good many salt  flats cars, which I like.  Lots of  rust shown. I guess they are tired of making them pretty.  Can't understand the preoccupation with red wheels and white wall tires.  But to each his own, I suppose.  Enjoyed the dioramas, and the haulers. Even a picture of old Len, himself.

Thanks again.  Provided much entertainment for me.

So, now I have to go help make potato soup.
