Ok guys, I need help. A friend of mine wants me to build a replica of his '67 Chevelle. What I need to know is, which one on the market is the best one to build for a stock Chevelle. It's his street  machine probably worth $45-50 thousand so want to do it justice. Also, if anyone has one at a reasonable price, let me know....

Thanks in advance for any info...

About the only one available is the Revell "Streetburner" or "Go Muscle" (same kit, just reboxed), however I believe both of them are Pro-Street versions.  There are several on Ebay for $15-25.  You might get one of these and put it on a Lindberg '66 Chevelle chassis, then you could build the leftovers into a '66 pro-street.
When I win the Powerball I will switch to the real ones.

Thanks guys! Think I might go with the Revell 396 version. Looks like it would a good one to build....

I agree, AMT has a pretty good one, it has been simplified, somewhat. It will make a good looking model,. But,....the Revell kit is better.

Thanks guys, I'm  going to take a little motorcycle ride down to Palm Harbor today. There's a hobby shop there that has a ton of stuff. He's a little high priced but, so is E-Bay when ya pay freight. I missed a big swap last week where I probably could have found what I wanted fairly reasonable. My wife had other plans and,,,,well.....happy wife is a happy life...lol. I'll let ya'll know later....Did ya catch "ya'll", I'm a southerner now.......

"y'all" , gotcha. I'll try to remember, lol.  Hobby shop didn't have one either. Ordered on off E-Bay, $27.56 including shipping.....I can live with that.
Thanks for the info guys....I'll post as I go with this one....

:)  Welcome to the South, Rett.  Jon is right.  Get that apostrophe ( ' ) right after the y and you got it.  lol   It will be official when we can get you on the " 3 G Southern Diet. "   Grits, grease, and gravy.

I hope all goes well with your Chevelle, and I am sure it will.
