This is a replica of the Rosell Dolin number 188. This is the car, as it arrived for bug day in 1964 at Port Royal Speedway.  In July of 1965 Rosell was killed in this car. They changed the motor and Rosell was pushed to start the new engine, the throttle stuck and he crashed. He was not wearing seat belts or a helmet.

I hope you enjoyed viewing this build. I felt like I needed to build this to honor Rosell, he was only twenty five years old.

Very cool build Bob. Too bad about the driver. Nice tribute.

That's a terrible story Bob,  but a really nice model.

Another good looking replica Bob.

Nicely done, Bob.
Lot of work to get the pieces right.
RIP, to the driver.
