Painted the stuff red that is supposed to be red on this particular car. The tubes on the floor will need to be painted black to match the cage.

Rattlecan Dan

Looking awful nice so far. Keep up the good work.

MarkJ

Thanks again, Donato. Looks like rain next week so it will be hard to squeeze in some paint sessions.

MarkJ

Removed the masking and cleaned the airbrush for the next round of painting. This time it will be all the black items whenever the weather allows it. In the meantime, I can work on the grille and engine which can be painted with a bristle brush at the table inside.

Got the black parts painted that I can do with the airbrush. Some will have to be painted with a bristle brush. I also got the body masked to paint the gold.

Good looking build taking place here Mark. As always your attention to detail is beyond reproach. When I saw the blue taped body, Terry Labonte's Piedmont car came to mind.
When I win the Powerball I will switch to the real ones.
