I appreciate people that actually build and post models.

Excellent! I was thinking this looked like a cool model to build but wasn't about to tackle that paint scheme. You nailed it.

Wow! That turned out great, and it looks like the real thing! Have to give it an 11. You have inspired me to pick up one of these kits. And finish my Chevy Nova. Right after I finish the '34 Pickup. Maybe this forum should be Short Track AND Drag Racing!? I probably won't get much support for that, though.

Excellent build David, nice paint work. The finished build looks great.

I prefer going around in circles, but it's still a very nice build.

Really nice job on that Mopar!  What brand and paint color did you use for the bronze? I ordered this kit online and have it sitting next to my computer.

Thanks Mark. I will dig around and see if I can find some (or ill just take some). Overall a very nice kit but there was some fiddly tinkering with the motor height and the overall ride height and rake. The tolerances are slim on this kit so minor adjustments tend to impact other related things. Still, I highly recommend the kit!

Here a few other shots during the build - https://public.fotki.com/DKBogard/various-wip-shots/dscn2434.html#media

That looks like the "Real Deal", David.
I'll bet those A/FX cars were a handful to drive.
I love the '65 Plymouths.
