Removed the side chrome, over 100 holes to fill. Used '63 front fender flares on the back just for something different. 352 with a 4-speed, black bucket seat interior. Sold it to a neighbor kid, he had to have it!

Great looking model Dirtman. That is one of my favorite cars ever produced. I've got a few cars and boats that I wish I had never gotten rid of myself.

I give it 2 thumbs up...1 for the 1:1 scale and one for the 1:25 scale.  I had a '70 Galaxie XL fastback back in my younger days...I think XL stood for x-tra long...wish I still had that ride today.

I think the 63 was the prettiest big Ford of the 1960's. You made yours your own like a lot of us did back then. Nothing wrong with the old 352. I heard quite a few of them sing pretty good back in the day. None of us young guys could afford to go to a Ford dealers and buy one brand new. So we did the next best thing and bought a used one and "personalized" it. Great job on the model also. Just love cars from that era.

Personally, I like the '64 better. I had several, on the track, and on the street. One had my 406 race motor in it. Didn't get beat very often!!! Anyway, thanks for the comments guys.....it's back to race cars for me again. Gonna do a '55 Chev instead of another Fordd.

"I think the 63 was the prettiest big Ford of the 1960's." I have to agree with Maineboy on this one, and back in the 60's I was a die-hard Chevrolet fan (Ford was a four-letter word).  Anyway, that is a very nice build and great representation of the 1:1.  If I can ever get back to the bench, have to find it first, I want to build a replica of my '65 Chevelle Super Sport.
When I win the Powerball I will switch to the real ones.
