So, I thought I'd build a street version just for something different. Couldn't leave it bone stock tho. Had to change the tires and wheels, shave a few emblems, etc. Used the stock 360 with a single four barrel cause I've got better uses for the tri-power set up!

I appreciate people that actually build and post models.

Nice build Rett.
Tks David! Haven't heard from you in a long time. We used to have some pretty good times when you were involved.

Rett,

Another great Ford from those old days. My parents had a 60 Fairlane and I thought that compared to the beautiful 57 Fairlane that the styling was pretty wild. But then look at the 59 and 60 Chevy. I remember that that car of my parents was the first car that I topped 100mph on the road with. I can remember that it was about 2AM and the whole thing felt like it was pretty light on it's feet at that speed. You have  great knack for helping us to relive some of the glory from earlier in our lives. Keep up that great work.

Those were my days!!! I raced, and drove on the street, several of the '56 thru '64 Fords. Always my favorites.

One of those cars I didn't like as a kid but now think it looks good and you did a very nice job on this. Sharp looking model!
