been working on this one for a little while now, kinda at a standstill until i can figure out something about mounting the wheels.  i cut off the kit mounting pins (like a dummy) to use wheels from Jaye, without using the kit wheelbacks.  not real smart on my part, didn't really think it through when i did it.  i may have it figured out but won't know until i give my idea a try.

anyway, several parts from Jaye on here.  sorry that some of the pics turned out kinda fuzzy, my iPhone camera lenses may have been a bit dirty.

had some technical difficulties with this post too, the photo cropping feature of my iPhone changed and shrinks the entire pic versus being able to just bring up or in an edge, so the pictures are kinda cluttered.  and imgur was also somehow set to give me one link without the option to size the pics, so they are bigger than i usually like them to be.

Nice. Looks like a whole lot of nice clean detailing.

Thanks for the comments fellas.

I may have the wheel thing figured out. Will see in the next day or so.

so here's my "jig" for setting these wheels right.  if i had been smart, i woulda just found some wheel backs from my parts box, shortened the mounting pins down on the suspension, and shaved the backs of the hubs down.  which is what i usually do with Jaye's wheels with separate hubs.

so the suspension mounting points for the wheels are cut off and shaved down smooth, there are shims under the frame for proper height purposes, and the tape... upside down painters tape.  hopefully the back of the hubs made contact with the suspension... guess i will find out after i do the right sides.  likely tomorrow.  will report back.  ended up being too much work... i sure hope this works, don't know what to do if it doesn't.  i had another plan but this SEEMED the better way to go.  at the time.
