Exhaust Dumps

Okay "Dark Siders" when we're single tube exhaust dumps used up until and then dual dumps as on Monogram GM products? For instance which is correct for Salvino's JR kits, Chargers/Plymouths/Cutlass/ Early Monte Carlo's. Also what size "Plastruc" tubing is correct?

I can't speak on the time frame question but i use 5/32" tube for exhaust
