DK: Hello again and welcome to the Orange County Fair Speedway in the great state of New York for the 2nd race in the inaugural FAST Modified season, the Monster Energy 111. I'm Dave Knight alongside Hick Strutlin. We're about to go racing in the dirt for the first of 2 times this season.

HS: Dave, the dirt's about to fly and the fenders might be a little dinged up after the checkered flag.

DK: And with that, our track announcer Johnny Johnson's about to give the command.

JJ: Orange County, are you ready for some racing!? Let's get this show on the road! GENTLEMEN, START YOUR ENGINES!!



Green Flag

HS: Let's rock and roll at Orange County!!!

DK: Rattlecan Dan a little sluggish at the start! It looks like he missed a shift. Sealey out to an early lead in turns 1 and 2. Steve Hutson made a move to the outside and avoided the mayhem. Dan's gathered it back up but he's down 3 spots. Sealey's coming off of 4 to lead the opening lap.

Lap 18

HS: Skip Itt's really got a good run on 2nd place Jerry Lawley.

DK: Lawley throwing the block, they touch! Both cars are around! Steve Hutson narrowly avoids another disaster as he slithers by on the inside! The caution is out.

HS: Looks like both of those guys kept it out of the fence.

Lap 23

DK: And the green flag is out and again, Rattlecan Dan is slow! He's got it going but clearly something is amiss. I think he may have lost a gear.

SH: Up front we've got a pass for the lead in turn 3. Steve Hutson leading the 46 of my old boss JR Sealey.

DK: And he brings it across the line with a 2 car length advantage over car #46.

Lap 56

HS: Speedracer is really putting the pressure on JR but they've managed to reel the leader back in a bit.

DK: You don't see that very often but they've both seemed to zero in on a fast line.

Lap 102

DK: And here we go 3-wide with 10 laps to go. Sealey goes low, Speedracer goes high, Hutson is the meat in this sandwich. They come off turn 2 dead even. No one is giving an inch. As they come to turn 3, Speedracer charges ahead on the high side but he can't clear the 7 of Hutson. They come off of 4 to the line!

HS: Throw a blanket over these guys because I can't tell who just led that lap!

DK: Official scoring says Hutson by a 0.007 seconds!

White Flag

DK: This has been absolutely incredible, Hick. The leaders are still running neck and neck. Any advantage one gains, that's how much they lose. Out of turn 2, slight advantage to Sealey who has stuck to that bottom line like an attack dog.

HS: And he's gonna throw it hard into turns 3 and 4! Hutson gets a little squirrely!

DK: And Hutson and Speedracer touch and slide up the track! They pull it together but it's gonna be the 46 of JR Sealey winning the Monster Energy 111 at Orange County!

HS: Way to go, boss man!!
