Greg Birky De-Foosed Cadillac

Greg really does build models! Here's some shots of his recently finished Revell Foose Cadillac with his own custom mods. I believe it took a best of show at a little show up in Wisconsin. Congrats Greg!

Thanks Tom for helping me out with the pics!!!  I really do build but I'm a little slower than most of you guys, lol...This Cadillac is my first finished build in 3 years.  I don't count my 64 Chevy in the glue bomb contest on Freds board as finished since it isn't.  I'm still adding to it in the form of real decals to replace the Sharpie number hastily scribbled on the drivers door.  I still need to add an engine and some interior bits to finish it.  Anyhow, the full build thread is on the Model Cars magazine forum in "On the Workbench" and "Under Glass" forums along with a bunch of pics of the transformation of the body and wheel and tire selection.  Yes, I did win first place in class at a little and I do mean little, but very competitive little show with a decent sized swap meet.  Someone else won the best in show although I can't remember who or what.  With all that being said, I'm up for and questions, comments or criticisms.  By the way, I call this my deFoosed Caddy because it's built from Revell's Chip Foose 48 Cadillac Eldorod.  My goal was to put my own spin on it and make it look like something else.  You guys can tell me if I succeeded or not!!! gb🏁

Thanks for the kind comments, gentlemen!!!  I intend to finish more cars this year since I'm finally feeling like a human being again.  This was a great kit and fun to put my own ideas into plastic and finish it, all in a two month time period...Like the old AMT bumper sticker said, I LOVE MODEL CARS.
