This is a replica build of the Trone's number 39 and the 1950 Chevy wrecker that towed the car to the track every weekend.
The car was driven by the late Bobby Hersh.

They did start using a trailer in 1964 but still towed with the old wrecker.

I built the number 39 race car over the winter. I just completed the wrecker Today.
All of the wrecker parts are scratch built.

DECALS FOR THE PROJECT SUPPLIED BY GREG HOLLAND.
The wrecker is navy blue and the white lettering is only one layer.
Greg has the white decals perfected.

Dang Bob, we just can't say enough about your builds that hasn't been said over and over and over! You've really got these down to a science. Well done again.

:)  Really nice, Bob. Quite a bit of work there.

Very Nice indeed! I just ordered my first set of decals from Greg. Looking forward to seeing the final product for a local street stock build from the Nashville Fairgrounds.
